Auto >> Manual conversion

on a 1992 civic


from automatic to manual

what do i need , where do i start

same shafts as auto ??

use same ecu ??

so i need 5 spd tranny, shift linkage, what else ??

paul, if your using the same motor you will need a flywheel as well to bolt onto the motor, and a IM from a manual engine as well, unless u swap in a 5spd engine already.

you also need fluid lines to run from the master cylinder to slave... can you use the same ecu??

you can rechip it so the check engine lights not on

uhh, yeah the ecu needs to be chipped.

I say it's a waste of time and money converting.. too much work involved!

depends if you want to keep the car ot not?

Mine grew up in the family, wanted to keep it but drive stick, wasn't that much involved to convert but you gotta know what your doing.
