auto engine need standard tranny?

auto engine need standard tranny?

hey guys im looking to convert my dads auto tranny to standard but where can i get a type s tranny? also will the type s tranny bolt right up? or will it need other modifications to engine?ecu?etc. thanx a lot.

it would help if you said what car/engine its for..

you'll need a MT ecu (or you can modify your ecu for MT).. engine you can leave alone. Just need to take the flex plate off and it all bolts up

You will also need a new distributor, starter and possibly an intake manifold. What car is this for?

I'm guessing that it is an RSX. And if it is sell the car and then buy a new one that is already 5-speed.
