auto d series tranny does some messed up stuff

ok the transmission when changeing from 2nd to 3rd revs jump 2000 rpm if i let it shift at 1500 or 5000 it still does it but it doesn't jump if you don't come to a complete stop only when you make a full stop or start off if you take your foot off the gas when it does it it only jumps like 2 or 300 rpm depends how fast you react ? any idea's ? any suggestions ? anyone with a new auto tranny if this one is fubard?

i like in your sig where you have 88 tempo DNF 127000... that is gold... that car is a walking DNF

as for the tranny... maybe this is a good time to get a manual in there??

white92d15b7 21-Aug-2003 12:25 AM

its for my gf maybe someone else can convince her to learn to drive manual anyone wanna teach her? lol

if she puts out i'm game... LOL kidding...

tell her to go to a drivers ed school and you can pay a set amount and they will teach her to drive standard

I have an auto tranny in my garage if you find out yours is messed up, just looking to get rid of it for cheap

white92d15b7 22-Aug-2003 12:50 AM

how cheap is cheap and first i need to find out where the green wire goes someone says lock up solenoid so i think that might be it but how cheap is cheap it works well?
