I use washers for the back cuz I'm a balla
as for front, shimming down the upper control arm on an EF/EG/DC platfrom makes sense. the unfortunate thing is that it affects other geometry angles. but Leitner is correct in saying that the outcome is basically corrected camber. and yes, ingenuity is the root of hotrodding. most anyone here simply hasn't been around cars long enough to know that. before this multi billion dollar industry, people didn't have off the shelf turbos, superchargers, and tricked out suspensions... and that's what Leitner is getting to. thanks for reminding us all of the humble beginnings of hotrodding.
I personally use an adjustable balljoint setup by Omnipower.
since we're on a susp discussion, Nova_Dust, have you seen that tasty M Factory rear susp setup *drool*
