Apex'i WS and AEM SRI
 

Hey,
Just wondering how much HP gain would I except with an AEM Short Ram Intake and an Apex'i World Sport Exhaust?

Car is a 98 Civic hatch.

No difference with the intake and if you didnt do a header then likely not any noticable difference with the exhaust either other then the psychological power gains.

so like 0 hp gain?

c'mon there's got to be at least like 5 hp more. i probably wont feel it, but there's got to be a gain of some sort.

Youd be lucky to see a 3hp gain at the wheels, all a catback exhaust and cai intake on a civic are good for is noise really. You can see gains from exhaust with a header and hi flow cat however.

turbo = gain... hahaha....

I/H/E are nothing for the money you put in.... IMO

I noticed about 20 - 30 WHP from my short ram, header, and World Sport 2.

and I get overnight parts from Japan...

What motor, and what is done to it?

Stock D16Y7. I can tell beacause it gets louder when I press on the gas. Other people look at me more, so therefore it's a head turner and it must have more power, right? Oh, I have a JDM Butt Dyno also. :thumbup:

For the record:

I didn't really notice any difference in performance when I purchased a Short Ram Intake, Heddman Header, Magnaflow Hi Flow Cat, and Apex'i World Sport 2 Cat Back for my D16Y7 Engine.

My above posts should be deleted.

BTW, the sound was wicked, though.

Probably about 10hp gain.

On a stock D series? Not even.

well in import tuner in the power pages they had a dx hatch, and they put on I/H/E/cam gears

each item netted about 2 hp, and the header got near 4

haha... 5-6 hp gain is not even 2whp gain.... riding an extra horse at the wheel doesn't give you much difference compare to riding the extra 100whp with a turbo haha...
