anyone know whats going on?
Hey guys, i just did a motor swap in my buddys car, pulled b16a out of one and pulled d15b out of the other and swaped them.
now the problem im having is that the b16a ran perfect not even an engine light after the swap was done, but hte other car had the engine light come on.
both cars are standard so are the ecu's, never been automatic, but im getting code 19 (automatic transmission lockout control valve) wtf?
anyone know whats going on?

but the motor and ecu came out of the other car right there and it ran perfect no engine lights in the other one, i didnt even take the harness off the motor cuz it was a straight swap!

ok, so maybe the CEL light was disabled in the other car (to get around the code 19) and since its not disabled in your car you're getting a CEL....just a thought.....i've seen it before.
Open up the ecu man, it'll take u 2 seconds to check. If you're getting a code 19, then i'm willing to bet that there are resistors in RP17 and RP18 and prolly even a high side switch in IC15 and IC16.
