looking for some help with installing and tuning a turbo kit

the kit includes an IHI turbo, turbosmart BOV, custom welded piping, used intercooler, a low compression head gasket, and an SMT6 Piggy back fuel/ignition ecu. (if there is a way for me not to have to use a piggy back feul/ignition ecu, and i can use a VAFC or SAFC please let me know as well as this will save me lots of money)

For AFC Hack i think you need

Larger Injectors (lot of ppl recommend DSM 450's but you have to wire up a resistor)
Missing Link/Check valve
Fuel Regulator.
Walbro pump really not needed....but nice to have

That's not bad, but you are missing like $1500 worth of components in your "kit". Good luck with that.

Intercooler, Turbo, manifold, downpipe, Wastegate, BOV, V-AFC

charge pipes/silicon links/hose clamps/oil return line/

lol expensive, thought he just wanted to know what was involved with the AFC hack.....this'n'that there you have it, the whole turbo kit.

hahaha forgot gauges....yet another huge chuck gone.

those are the parts that i do have, what else do i need, and does anyone know how to INSTALL AND TUNE turbo kit using the piggy back ECU?

I'm pretty sure you have to Dyno it in order to tune a piggy back setup for optimal performance....check out Homemadeturbo Forums and ask there in the FI section, those guys are the experts in ghetto turbo setups

Never heard of this SMT product. I'm using a Apexi S-AFC, Venom 440 injectors, Holley pump for fuel control.
