Anyone know this

have a 94 civic, with an automatic cluster, but I got a manual conversion done.

I want to put one of those fuel/temp gauges from a manual in place of the big gas gauge I have now. Will the whole unti bolt in fine even on my auto cluster?

And also, If i take out the big temp gauge on the far left, is there a hole in the back, and would I be able to retrofit an aftermarket tach in there?

good questions and the quick answers are ..

1) NO

2) maybe

ok for your first question you can't put the dual eul/temp gauge in that spot because of the elsectircal traces on the back of the gauge cluster they will not line up

second question ... answer is maybe you'd need a tach the size of the diameter then you'd also have to make sure any electrical lines runing along the back of the gauge cluster are rewired to go around the opening you'll have to create..

here's an Idea....

take 1 cluster..

remove gauges (all of them) and then put in autometer speedometer and tach and fuel gauge .... then add one of those gauge pods that sit over the dash and looks like frogs eyes.... and put air/fuel in one side and water temp auge in other...

wire it all up tot he stock harness and have a nice day....

this way all the gauges look the same .....

yeah man, Si cluster is like $80-100 bux. I paid $150 for mine from a junk yard, but that was before I knew of TCC. I dunno how you drive, but when I got my cluster, it was like I found another gear or something :p cuz now I was able to rev freely right to 7000 rpm. I found before that I was only revving to 5500. WoW, what a boost in power!!!

yeah after I got a Tach I found I could go higher... I might take the take out and just bounce the red line when I race :p
