Wrong forum.

Google search for it. SRR and Function 7 are a couple of them. If you want black, paint them yourself.

red90dx 15-Aug-2004 05:11 AM

thanks guys....honda has aluminum ones ? 100$ thats a good price for aluminum...and thanks for defcon i emailed them today......

does thsi improve ride quality? b/c i think ones bent and is nto coming down properly..

mattharper 16-Aug-2004 07:02 AM

they dont improve the ride, its more for the 'bling' factor

red90dx 16-Aug-2004 07:11 AM

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
has nothing to do really to do with the "bling" factor

they are lighter, and have the ability to change the geometry of the suspension by correcting camber and allows for larger wheels and tires

red90dx 16-Aug-2004 07:15 AM

my grammer is bad sometimes (SP)

mattharper 16-Aug-2004 08:30 AM

i put a set on and didnt notice anything except for peeple comenting on them "those lcas look sick" ect...

FASTEST 16-Aug-2004 07:32 PM

um your right they do help the ride i got full tein adjustable suspension and integra conversion on eg and my back wheel wasnt coming down .....so i figure out it was th elower controlm arm b/c it was always like that and integra **** is pretty new my buddy had the same problem his lower control arm was bent and bushing shot so wasnt coming up adn down.....and who ever buy these for the bling thats great but the are suppose to help with lightening up ur ride and give u better camber and confort for your back arm to pivet up and down while driveing.......

anyone else knows besides Defcon who makes aluminum LCAS for good price...

FASTEST 16-Aug-2004 07:33 PM

i dont no why they put ***** but its supose to be BACK ARMS

mattharper 17-Aug-2004 06:56 AM

".....and who ever buy these for the bling thats great but the are suppose to help with lightening up ur ride and give u better camber and confort for your back arm to pivet up and down while driveing....... "

i got mine cause my stock ones had seized bushings, the lca bolt wouldnt comeout, and it was midnitght with my whole suspension.so i picked em up off my buddy for 50$:D

bbarbulo 17-Aug-2004 08:44 AM

don't buy cheap LCAs

if you buy something other than SRR, then beware.

while they may appear the same, I'd be worried about material quality. aluminium fatigues easily, so material that is porous or has fissures or cracks in it already would be a big concern. I'd like to think the more expensive ones get x-rayed for cracks.

spracingsports 17-Aug-2004 12:18 PM

arent they just to strengthen the suspension for more intense driving, not really to improve ride quality?

imported_loudsubz 17-Aug-2004 12:23 PM

lighter thats basically it

imported_GoldBadge 17-Aug-2004 12:28 PM

^^I'd have to think so. Strengthen/lighten...

coming form me and my buddys view.....we both have are right lower bent and the bush....are f**cked to so yea he put them on and now its way better ride at the back b/c the arm is now going up and down....before is was staying up b/c it was bent and seized...i got the same problem so im gunna pick some lca at defcon or honda.....

does honda make aluminum ones?

imported_GoldBadge 17-Aug-2004 03:05 PM

How much are these defcon ones? Do they come with bushings?

imported_loudsubz 17-Aug-2004 03:09 PM

you can always just buy ES bushings for your stock LCA

even pick up a set of GSR for cheap

FASTEST 17-Aug-2004 03:18 PM

....

k bro where can i get these gsr or es bushingss........... ad defcon has them for 200 for pair and they come with bushings....

anywhere else?

FASTEST 19-Aug-2004 02:33 AM

NO ONE ELSE HAS THEM?

imported_GoldBadge 19-Aug-2004 07:58 AM

Junkyard. There's sometimes people selling the complete rear disc swap with LCAs from integras.

FASTEST 20-Aug-2004 01:03 AM

thanks...but beside DEFCON anyone else sell aluminum LCAS for 200 with bushings ......?

imported_JookSingKid 20-Aug-2004 01:25 AM

Aluminum rLCAs are pure bling.

the new bushings is most greatly improves ride quality, not the aluminum rLCAs.

the weight is almost a non-factor because rLCAs already sit so low to the ground, having weight low in the car is a good thing.

FASTEST 20-Aug-2004 01:47 AM

its different when ur lca is bent like mine....and of course you get new bushings when u change your lca to aluminum ......need to change all so im going all out...lol...best confort and performance

just wondering if anyone else makes them for th esame price as defcon 200$ with bushings

imported_GoldBadge 20-Aug-2004 08:25 AM

If i were to swap out my LCAs for a different setup, lets say GSR, would my camber change? Are the LCAs in rear disc swaps a different length? And what do you guys prefer for correcting camber, bringing the bottom in or the top out?
