anyone have R1's
i heard R1 coilovers are very good coilovers and also a smooth ride for a low price. i was thinking of getting them and taking out my eibach pro kit springs b/c they are shitty as as. everytime i drive i end up with a huge as headache b/c it bounces like a grasshopper so i am very sick of them. thanx for the help

well i drove a 92 civic dx with those coilovers and it felt like how it was before he installed them, you couldn't even notice the difference. plus i may need them for the winter b/c my winterbeater is going to costing me to much to put on the road so i have to get them, plus i don't like the drop the eibach's gave it at all if you see it you'll realizze why i want them out

I got R1 Coilovers on my car....
I had my car really slammed when I first got them, some rubbing when you turn the wheels all the way, wasn't that bouncy, more stiff, but really hurt when you hit a pot hole.
Winter came around, I got them raised and its been pretty much the same height ever since, (except i Lowered the back a tad bit) Now I find its a lil more bouncy then before, but I like the height I have it at, no rubbing, and no cops harrassing me. Less tire wear as well, went through my old tires like no tmr when the car was slammed. The R1's overall are decent if you want something that you can adjust and ride is decent. Still need some new struts tho. If I'm ever at a meet, you can come for a ride to get the feel.

R1 coilies
R1 Coilovers are on sale for $199 at Automotive Warehouse in Niagra Falls... Saw them the other day when I was there looking for springs. The guy kept on saying they are good and wanted to rush me into buying them. I told him I've never heard of R1 before and I don't want to buy things I haven't heard of before. He said they were good, not too bouncy so I dunno... do you guys think a good price at $199 for R1s?

yep its not bad, its the same price at a shop nearby my place in woodbridge and they sell there performance parts at a very costly price, so im not too sure yet ive gotta ask around on prices for those coils but $200 sound pretty reasonable
