I'm trying to figure out what summer tire to buy and I was thinking about getting Toyo Proxis FZ4's. Anyone have any experience with them?

The FZ4 is one of the worst tires that I have ever used. I would rather drive on winter tires.

I've heard nothing good about these tires.

If your heart is set on Toyo's, bit the bullet and buy T1S. If you want reviews on T1S send a pm to Jooksingkid and Quick_CX....they both have T1S on their hatches.

Other brands that you could look into are:

Yoko AVS ES 100
Kumho 712
Falken Azenis

yeah i just check also...you will have to get the 205/50/15 or get another style or tires, like the Ziex or something. I have the Ziex and they hold pretty good, good corning but poor in the rain. But if you were planning on getting the azenis they are even worse in the rain then the Ziex.

I bought Dunlop Sport 9000(z rated) for my hatch and have no complaints at all, they are great in the rain also. I paid $500 for a set and IMO are fantastic. Just my 2 cents.

eagle F1's ... great summer tires and rain race tires... that is what was suggested to me by wheel and tire zone... it's what I'll be getting ... used by a few performance drivers....

I have had both FZ4s and T1S

The FZ4s are sticky for a little while... but they seem to breakdown.. not wear out but actually breakdown

I definately like the T1S much more. Good bang for the buck, but they do get loud after treadwear is past 50%

incase you're curious I have some used 195-50R15 T1S for sale
