for a few days? I need to do some suspension work on my control arms, and the one i have is only rated at 230ft/lb, and I need something bigger.

Bigger??? Have you tried it yet man?? WD40, let it sit overnight, and WD40 again then try it, if no go then torch it. A little careful hammering can loosen up seized up bolts too, but that's what an impact gun does to begin with. I don't have air tools yet How much was your air compressor, what the rating, and where did you buy it Matt? I gotta get one.
Anyone know any good deals on a MIG welder too? I think it's time I finally bought my own.

I took it over to Scotts in milton and he has a 800ft/lb wrench, and it ripped the nut thats welded onto the shock clean off like it was butta lol.
I need powerrrrrr...
I tried wd-40, and release all. Left it overnight, nothing. I tried a propane torch for plumbing on the bolts on the car, but no luck, dont wana try them on the spare control arms I have cause I still need the bushings intact.
My compressor was $329, its the same one on sale now at CT this week. Works good. 13 gallon tank, 5.5 scfm.

It's a Cambell Housefield unit?? $329 is a good price. I was thinking Sears or Home Depot for a compressor, not CT, but I'll check it out! Thanks Matt
Why did you wanna tear off the nuts on the shock?? Ya, the plumbing torch is what I use too.
