Any tips to get coolant bolt off a D engine

Buddys got a 99 EL, D16y8 engine, tonight tried to take the bolt off on the back of the engine for coolant but wont even budge.

We had breaker bar setup going, because impact wont fit in there. Any other advice to get it off?

youre talking about the plug for the block heater? cause if you are, the best bet is to get a long *** impact extension and crank the bastard off

why do you need that bolt off? if your trying to drain the coolent for a flush, like tuneup... then just do a back flush, if you do it while the engine is running it will circulate through the heater and flush out all the crap inside the whole cooling system...

go to Canadian tire and buy a Prestone backflush kit, follow instructions installing, then all you have to do is buy the flush liquit every year after , if you want to flush it ever year that is...... I love flushing my system, you know its clean when you hook a garden hose up it

Its easy to to.. just dont do it while its cold outside, wait till it warms up abit... supposed to get warmer in the next few days... I say this simply because theres a good chance u might get allitle wet

it's simple....u drain the coolant...turn the engine on w/ a garden hose pissing water into the rad...close the rad drain again and add the flush **** and add as much water to it as the instructions say...run the engine for like 15 mins...drain it again and drain it even more with the garden hose again...close the rad drain and filler up with premixed honda coolant.
