another problem baked my noodle.

ok, I dont have any tires on the car so I dont think it will make a difference..

my inner cv joint the hub going into the tranny itself is wobbling maybe 1/8-1/4 inch side to side, in a complete circle, its like somehow the hub is bent?

or maybe I have tranny problems, I just got it from a jdm importer...
how the hell is this happened?

I'd presume the shaft bearing is cooked... I've seen a wheel bearing unseat itself and cause the same problem - led to brake failure...

There may be a possibility that the shaft WAS bent in transportation, if the engine was rested on the axle by accident. Only way you'll know is to remove and inspect...

as for what bearing is needed, what I do with ANY bearing is take it out go to my man at Canadian Bearing, and he sets me up with a direct replacement bearing from like Timken or something. Basically, Honda does not manufacture bearings... they try to use what's available commercially. So basically, what the dealer sells you for $80, I can get a better one for like $20. Just look for an industrial supply place in your area. Being in Windsor, with all the automotive manufacturing, I get access to all kinds of industrial goodies.

sounds to me like you need to speak with Mista Bone of the SOHC board. He'll set you up straight about doing Honda trannys.
