just by the finish at the end of the coils. One end is ground smooth while the other end is like a shear... like it's broken off. I would be inclined to think these springs were chopped. The difference between the rear and the front is drastic, which I know from personal experience not to be the case with Eibach.

Here is a picture of a Saturn on Pro Kit (there is also a difference of only .2 or so inches as well. His kit was purchased brand new). I know its a Saturn, but this is the only picture I had and I knew what was on it.

My Saturn also sits on Eibach Pro-Kit... Saturns have a narrow rear track that throws off the look (esp on puny stock tires )
Anyways, the top of your springs are supposed to be... ****, I know I shouldn't say this, simply cuz I know I've seen pics of springs that were different... but I'm 99% sure that on Civic applications the top of the spring is supposed to be ground flat, esp on Eibach. Plus your front drop looks way lower than 1.5"... did you measure it? Looks like 2" or more. My Civic on 2.5" lowering springs by Suspension Techniques sat just about that low.

Yeah Satty's have that stance from the start, soo....
I dunno, from the pic you can't really tell, but it does have that flat part on the top, maybe not as much as thought?Anyhow, I realized those pics were for the rear ones not the front, I guess I wasn't bothered to take pics of the front springs.
Also, I did measure, it was approx 1.7 drop, but this is after they setteled in, and I've heard Eibach's are known to settle.

That front drop is like mine about 1.75" but that back is higher than mine tho. Mine sits lower 1.5" but I still don't see how you can rub??? Mine is same height and no rub at all with stock tires. The part number does match for EK civic, right? What car were they are before anyway? I think maybe the front springs have gone week or something, does front end bounce a lot?

The springs were on an Acura EL b4.
No, the car doesn't bounce at all, the ride actually is great and comfortable.
If they have gone weak, would one be able to talk to Eibach about this?

your springs have been cut. period.
according to this picture (the kit on their website)
if you look at the top of the spring it's flat ... look at the top of your spring it's not... I'll save a copy of the picture and circle the area in question
