Angry Annoying Noise - Driving me crazy

I have a 99 Civic Ex 4D and there is this annoying noise that comes from the rear of the car. I can't seem to figure it out. I thought it was my CD changer, nope, so I tightened every bolt I could find in the trunk area, removed everything in the trunk to see if that was making the noise, even the spare tire and I can't seem to figure it out. It comes whenever I go over bumps or potholes, it sounds like some metal is bouncing in between two things. I was just wondering if anybody has any idea what it could be or has had that noise.

Thanx

does your car have springs/coils or is it a stock suspension?

rear trailer arm bushings, spray all your rear arm bushings with WD-40, if the noise stops that was your problem.
*NOTE*
this is a temp fix, you will need to replace the busings, buy an energy suspension kit, thats what im doing asap

Actually, I had something like this, it was the rear seat belt mount. Drove me nuts... I stripped EVERYTHING in the trunk to metal, and it continued, so I went to the dealer like that and I was like WTF. He lay in the trunk with one of those stetoscopes, and listeded while I drove. They took it off, siliconed it, and put it back... no problem since. To test, just reach back while driving, and jank on the seat belt till it locks up, and keep tension on it. If it locks up, this is your problem.
