Angry Alternator belt

OK im changeing my belts today, the first one pops off no problem, pump braket moved nice loosend off the tention came off less than 2 mins work.

Now onto the alternator belt, i loosened the top alternator adjuster bolt, then i went under the car and removed the pivot bolt nut (other end of the bolt is a huge square head, no wrench fitting). No problems at all, so i go back up into the engin compartment expecting the alternator to shift forward with ease like the pump did to reilif the tension on the belt for removal, and NO bloody thing still wont budge..

So anyone got any tips or hints to loosen the bugger up, theres like no room to get a good swing with a mallette or a blobk of wood up in there, it hase to move forward... maybe im missing another step, another bolt clip ect... its not detailed enough in my manual, it just said to loosen the 2 bolts that i did, i think the pivot bolt and everything down there is seized up maybe cuz it gets hit by water im sure seeing its location...

Where the pivot bolt goes through looks like a bunch of weird clips and ****, maybe im missing a step.

Thanks

haha, i tryed , but the only thing to pry off was may axle beneath, and then my master cyl on top lol. no good, and i noticed prying from the bottem doesnt allow for the right pressureto push the top of the alt forward...

Why do the most simple jobs turn out to be so frustrateing! I wouldnt bee so pissed if i were doing a clutch change or somehting lol.

i'ts easy, first move the crank sensor wire, it's wrapped in black plastic and it's pushed into the lower timing belt cover, pull it off the cover. Get a big channel lock pliers and put it at the end of the two bolts, the one on the alt. slider and the one that holds the water pump and the slider. Just squeeze the channel lock and it'll come forward. It's easier to move the crank sensor wire first so it'll give you more room to fit the channel lock in behind the bolt that holds the water pump and the alt. slider. HTH.
