generally how much is a 91 teg altenator? Im guessing my friends broke down and he wanted to me give him a rough price of how much it goes for but i dont know.

get one from a wreckers, prolly around $60

couple $100 bux for a good rebuilt one at CT. I paid $250 for a Bosch unit on my Saturn

There are a number of shops in Mississauga that rebuild alternators. Cost is far less than CT. I can't remember the name of the one I go to, just how to get there.. Look in Yellow Pages and call around.

thanks boyz, i just needed a general amount to start with, it turns out i actually know some who their dad has his own alt and starter shop in sauga, he said he would rebuild it for $80 parts and labour including taking it out and putting it back in but my friend has to tow da car there, aww well.
