I like ZC, they are quick.
Its another underestimated motor, and a wicked bang for the buck. $350?? nice, just find yourself a D-series tranny.
I seen ZC EFs hang with ITRs on the road track
(except on the straight aways)
Dented DX's EF ran .2 seconds behind me when I had B16A.
His motor was stock ZC that had to breath through a skinny DX stock exhaust.
On an Autocross, a ZC can run with the top cars.
(Depends on driver and suspension)
Run spray in a ZC in drag.
You'll be beating ITRs, running with WRXs and DSMs
If you blow you motor, $350 is nothing for a new long block.
Things to think about.

Thank you Sam.....and My Blue Si. Finally some logical sense on the board. I have no probs with an intelligent discussion if they can hold their own, but when they act like this guy who wants to deal with them.

jsut to pop in here, if your not big enough to come to a meet and start ****, don't hide behind your computer and do it, cuz i gareente you would think twice before messing with the ppl you are.
but to stay on topic, i love my zc, best bang for the buck.runs strong and is relyable if you treat it properly.
*note* any motor will blow if you run it hard all the time and sooner or later, it will give

I have heard the 88 and 89 ZC's are more prone to blow....so it is possible. But I swear by the years above it
