OK im all out of ideas, iv tryed everything i can think of and i still cant get my car working right so im turing to the people of TCC to help me out....So heres whats been happening to my car the last few days.

I was driveing home and i stoped at a set of lights and my car stalled (due to no gas) and wouldnt start again. So i got some gas and pit it in and it still wouldnt start. After about an hour of it just sitting there i tryed it again and it started! So i drove the car home and just as i got home it stalled again! i left it over night and tryed starting it again in the moring and it started right up so i drove to the gas station and filled it right up to make sure it was full of gas, after i got home and parked it it wouldnt start again.

So i thought i might have fryed my fuel pump so i replaced it today and took the car for a boot, it was running great and i had to probs, till about 15 mins after driving....it just stalled again so i parked it and left it for about and hour and tryed starting it and it started just fine!!

So heres my question! Dose anyone what might be wrong? or has anyone had the same prob.??

Car Specs: 1994 Honda Civic HB 1.5L

Ok, i did some research on some old post and i think it might be my fule pump main relay! So, when it comes to stuff like that i dont know to much so my question is how would someone like me repair my main relay?? If someone could help me out with that and maybe post some pics or send em to (playboy_1080@hotmail.com) That would be sweet, Thanx TCC.

replace the main relay...take it out, put in a new one...they are available at the dealer

or u could take it apart and resolder the cracked joints

i believe a new main relay is arouind $80-100 and you can just replace it. an easy indication of a failing main relay is if the car is acting up when its warm outside... i think the warmer your car is the more problematic it can become and usually when your car is cooled down, there are no problems.

did it happen to be really hot out when all of this happend?
my EF's main relay does it when its hot and from what i understand it does not allow the fuel pump to pump?
re sodering only works a few times
just buy a new one

get that distributer fixed or solved jerr, this could be the part they meant about it melting down.

said it will cut out and stall till it fries the rotor in the dizzy due to a faulty internal coilpack .(over heats).

its not fixed yet but i know what the prob is now. The dizzy heats up, do too a bad coil and it gets so hot that it wont send a spark so the car just quits like it stalls. Im going to try and get it fixed friday moring so ill let ya know how things go!

By the way: I called around to some jap auto places and i got the same thing from all of them 1)look for a spark, 2)change the main relay 3) Change the fule pump.......thats what to try if anyone else ever has the same prob. Thanx guys for all ur help....like i said ill let ya know how things go friday!!
