alignments when your car is lowered.

Does anybody know any place where to do alignments when your car is lowered because it can't go on the ramp. Is there another hoist that does alignment which u don't have to go over the ramp? Because i think the new car i'm getting is lowered and i think it might hit the ramp when it goes up and hit my front bumper. Any suggestions?

Parkway Honda, a TCC affiliate, can do it. They have a really good alignment machine, and it's sunken into the ground so any lowered car can get on it. Not sure on pricing, but check them out.

My car is now lowered.. (it was slammed for the weekend but thats another story..)

anyways for an alignment I went to wheel and tire zone. I had no trouble geting on and off the rack with a 3 inch drop on the car.

anyways the phone number for them is 905-624-1577 and they are located in Mississuaga at 1116 Mid-Way blvd Unit number 9

Wheel and Tire Zone is great. They were even able to do an alignment on my car when I had a rim bent at the hub, a bulged tire, and loose lugnuts.

How do you perform an alignment with a rim that's bent at the hub you ask? You just spin it until you think it looks right and pretend that that's how it will always point.

They sent me on my way with an unsafe car and when I took my winters off I realized, from the one badly worn tire, that it was a bad alignment too. Take your car somewhere else. Tirecraft at Kipling and Rexdale is good, but they're often pretty busy.

my car is lowered like 1.75" and i have no problem at all gettin on to alignment racks, been on a few actually.
Even when my car was lowered over 2" it still made it up the ramps just fine. I don't see why you are having problems. Are the shops not even trying and just telling you that it won't make it b/c its lowered?

It was 100 plus tax last year when I went, so 115 sounds pretty damn right. They give discounts if you drive a race prepped blue eg hatch.

Bringing it to honda can be worse at times because they too have dumb kids working there and you can't see what their doing.

At Gilmans, I was sitting right there as he was adjusting the tierods and making sure he lined it up right and didn't go breaking anything else in the process. Not that I expected him to, but it's that extra piece of mind to know the job was done right.
