Alignment: Two sets of rims, what to do??

Hi all,

I have 2 sets of rims -- a set of 14" alloy for my winters, and a set of 16" for my summers/all-seasons. I'm thinking of doing an alignment. As far as I understand, the alignment machine hooks onto the rims, so if I do it for one set of rims, would I have to re-do it when it's time to put on the other set?

Thanks a lot guys! Advice appreciated! :)

alignment does not depend on your rims... I went with steelies on mine

ya dont worry about which rim you use, alignment does not depend on your rims unless they are extremely warped!!

while yes the devises attach to the rims.... the ali9gnment measurments will be the same no matter which ones you use (unless they are damaged) the alignment varibles (castor camber and toe) are setup on the hub ... see they are the 3 axises that the hub can be on... so regardless of rims the alignment should be the same
