Question Alignment

Ok so i got a '00 sir and have had a set of coilovers since basiclly when i got it. Anyways, i love the low low drop in summer, and with 40 series tires the inside on the back get worn out in weeks. an expensive problem. so i obvisouly need an alignment and a camber kit, couple questions here,

1. do i need front and rear camber kits, ive been told i need just rear, and been told i need both, approx how much would it cost, and how much would it cost to get it all properly aligned.

2. when i raise it back up to stock in the winter, i know my alignment will be out again but i don't really care on winter tires, when summer comes and i drop it back down to the same hight will my alignment sitll be correct?

3. im talkin like 2 ½ or more drop, ya ya but i like it, just by looking at it, from the back my back wheels look like this

/ -- \ , and theres about 3/4 to an inch of tire inside my wheel well, now the gap between the wheel thats inside the well and the actual well is very small, i can't fit my pinky inbetween.. if i get it all properly aligned and my wheels look like this

| -- | im worried that the top of my wheel will be rubbing the inside of the well, so do i gotta roll out the well and how hard is that to do?

yes it will trash your wheel wells/ fenders... so A: raise it up to a practial highth like 1.5-2.0 or B: sell your coilovers and get air ride so you can look at your car in the driveway all slamed and then rais it to normal hight to drive it...

Those are your only 2 options ... Or if u decide not to listen at least rotate your tires every oil change to help extend the ware, and have the toe set up properly....

or get your fenders rolled out so you have more room.... smaller rims/ tires will also at least help the problem

can airbags hold up to our winters and salt? i know they're obviously weather proof, but rubber, high pressure, salt and bitter bitter cold... ? i heard they're bad to be on a car drivin all year..

Yah if i were investing in air ride, i dont think I would abuse it by driving it in the winter... Way to much to go wrong... If you want your car really Slammed without damageing fenders tires suspension componets then you have to Pay.. rolled fenders, custom lower controll arms ect ect...

Or you can always rice it up by removing your fender liners and just buying cheap tires every year and new struts every few years lol...

Having it slammed it looks sick but definitely costly and not very efficient. I would say go with reasonable drop height so you don't crazy with tire wear. As for alignments, pretty much each time you change the height of the vehicle, an alignment is recommended. Fender bending will be required for the tires to work properly at low height and its not very good for the car either. Suspension will definitely not last very long either, it just all works out to be really expensive. Gotta put $$$ for alignments, tires, camber kits, shocks, and etc etc etc
