Air ride --> Suspension problem

I ordered a kit the easy street air ride kit for my 2003 Civic Si. The thing is on the website it is specified for a 01-02 civic. I know you are all thinkign its the same, but the strut is somewhat different. The shaft is 55mm on the 03 civics and 50mm on 01-02 civics. Therefore the bags for the front will not fit. My only option is to get a 01-02 civic front strut and put them in, but the 01-02 civics have a 14mm whole, opposed to a 16mm whole at the bottom of the strut, which means i have to drill them a bit bigger. Will this cause any problems?? Anyone know??
