white92d15b7 31-Mar-2004 01:24 PM

it was actually the tranny ground apparently i for got that now im just a neutral switch away from firing it up!!!!!

Chigga1 31-Mar-2004 01:26 PM

white92d15b7 31-Mar-2004 02:35 PM

i need a starter bolt now i have come to the realizatioin through snapping one starter in half that one bolt is not good enough !1!!!!!! an auto has two short bolts for the starter and a manual had one long and one short !!!!!!! so you see my dillema im not with the rest of my parts to get a long bolt so im sitting here waiting for some wheels to go get a bolt from somewhere !!!!! but im sure it will fire up well!!!!!!

can't bum start it cuz im on a big hill and if it doesn't start im not going to push it back up

anyone have a dx 5 speed ecu lying round also ?

imported_gatherer 31-Mar-2004 02:54 PM

you need a different ECU because the ECU controls the automatic tranny qand without the automatic tranny there it will throw codes...

white92d15b7 31-Mar-2004 03:11 PM

let it throw codes lol i took out the cel bulb for now i knew that would happen!!!!!!!!!!im doing the mpfi swap soon too so ill take care of the ecu then !!!!

you should not be so easy going about your cel just put the proper ecu on so you wont cause your self anymore problems.
