AEM Fuel Filter

AEM Fuel Filter
Why do they list no application for 92-94 civics but do for 95 and on.
Did something change in 5th gen civics for the last year that explains this? What could they have done to the filter/hardware to make AEM not want to make an application?
Anyone?

If it says 95 ALL...
And the 95 model year had several motors...
It would be safe to assume that it is the same for the lesser years...
Perhaps a slight modification is needed but unlikely...
Even thought it says N/A...
Call AEM and ask if you need to know so bad...
There is no performance difference between this and a new stock one...
How do I know...
Because I just changed my AEM for a stock one on my 94 and had the same problem you did before...
And I asked...
Who's SMART now....
NOTE: You application might be different because your motor wasn't "STOCK" for that year here...

Happy, you can use any fuel filter off any '92-'00 Civic, '94-'01 Integra. It's all the same ****... all the mounting hardware is the same and mounting location is the same as well. When i did my tuneup i bought a new Teg fuel filter from Acura... fits and works fine.
But try and stick with Honda genuine filters. the AEM is a hi flo filter... hi flo means it filters less fuel. More for boosted applications that require as little flow resistance and optimum fuel pressure at all times.
