Aebs i/m install> somethings wrong

hey guys i have some issues, i just bought a aebs intake manifold for my crx with a 1st gen b16a. After i removed the stock manifold i compared the two and the aebs is missing a spot for one of the sensors completely. Its located underneath the tb and is mehcanical no wires goin to it. Theres coolant lines running through it tho..

My question is did i get the wrong one,, should i bypass it ( in that case wont the car run like crap) I have no clue what to do now.

Has anyone here gone through the same problem?

^^ Not too sure what sensor you are discribing...

Do you know what this sensor is for?

Have any pics?

If the sensor on your oem manifold is just threaded into the manifold, just drill & tap a hole in the same location on the new manifold and your good to go.

But need more info for us to give you a better answer, unless someone else on here knows what it is and what to do.

what size TB is on the AEBS? I've heard of obd2 guys bypassing FITV's, but I'm not sure what the cons would be. If the aebs tb and OE piece of the same size, just grab a new TB gasket from honda and use your stock tb. Or send it out to get milled a bit if you got a f/i motor or high cr. If its stock, just put the oe TB on

my motor is a 1st gen ob0,, the tb will fit np it just that the new aebs intake manifold doesnt have the stop for the fitv to bolt on..

not sure what i should do bypass it or get another manifold that has it? IF i bypass it will it run alrite. Do u guys think my idle wil go all crazy?

does the second gen b16a tb have the fast idle sensor attached directly to it,, if so i could just use a 2nd gen tb right??

Thanks guys!!!!

if you bypass it.. it should just take a bit longer to reach operating temp.

I think i have figured it out,, the 1st gen b16a doesnt have the fitv attached to the throttle body.. Its attached directly to the I/m.

As i seen in pics second gen motors have the fitv attached to the TB,, does this sound riight or no?

bypass it, dont worry about it. Loop it is what i did. Helps keep the IM cooler anyways, dont want hot coolant running though there anyways :P

no its the fast idle thermo valve.
On 1st gen b16s its part of the intake manifold, but with second gen b16s its part of the throttle body.
He's already looped the coolant lines, so theres no more problem.
