advancing Timing, and Chipping OBD1 ecu

if i was to chip my computer and advance the timing on it would i feel any gains? if so what kind of gains. and does anyone know where i can get this done and how much it cost?

nothing has been done to the engine i want to do stuff to the engine what do i need to do to feel a good improvement

i wish i could boost my engine dont have the LUCHINI ($$$) for that, unless you know where i can get that done for 2 grand..lol

chipping your ECU doesn't really help until you've done basic bolt ons

I'd seriously suggest chipping the ECU as a last step...

and what do basic bolt ons include.. intake, exhaust, headers? what else.

hi on my b16a1 i have chiped my ecu with rev to 9000 and i see big diference on response and on high revs ........i just have exaust 54 and with high flow cat .... kn filter on cuted box and spoon gasket ............its the second chip becouse with my first superchip i have not see gains and i give it back my second was mugen copy and was dream ......

Nice Cold Air intake system, Catback exhuast(2.25inch), cataylic(aftermarket) free-flow, Nice header (4-1), plugs and wires, FPReg, and then maybe a chipped ECU..for some decent gains...for sures you'll see a difference..but thats the step I think...
