Adjusting the kickdown cable.

Does any1 know how to adjust the kickdown cable on a 94 integra automatic. I just installed the tranny and now it shifts like 6000rpm. I tried adjusting it from left to right and right to left. I have a B20b engine with a Stock LS tranny. The ECU and everything should be the same. Everything runs fine. This tranny shifts good and smooth. No engine light or anything. Does any1 know what it could be. Is there a procedure to adjust the kickdown cable. I just don't want to change gears at 6000rpm. Any 1 can help. I use the 2 12mm nut to adjust the kickdown but it doesn't seem to do much. Any help will be appreciated.

are you saying that it always shifts at 6000rpms? even when slowly crusing?
If not, and ur trying to get it to shift higher, theres no point, b20s stop making power before/around 6000rpms so revving it higher isn't necessary.
And the stock LS ecu isn't fine to run a b20, the LS is a 1.8L the b20 is a 2L with slightly different cams, the LS ecu will run too lean, i know b/c i've tuned a few b20s that were using a stock LS ecu or program, i'm not just talking out of my *** here.

I've found out that the tranny was no good. Anyways. Does any1 know if the JDM integra tranny is the same. The people that are trying to sell me the tranny told me it was the same, but someone told me it is not compatable. The kickdown cable lever on the tranny is 180 degree opposite to each other as far as i know. If i was to take that piece out and put a local linkage it should work 100% fine rite? Would the ECU and everything read properly. I'm planning to change to a JDM 1 but not sure if it will fit. Let me know. i really need help on this. Pls no guessing here. I hope someone here knows and they can tell me of it they have ever done a swap like this and it worked out to be good. Let me know.
