adjusting hood

k...i got another hood and it won't close properly. anyone know the method of adjusting it on a 4th gen hatch? im trying to figure out if its not closing because of the way i put it on or if its cuz my **** is still pushed in a bit from the accident. i straightened it out a lot and the latch thingy is JUST missing the hole. anyone?

Are you guys talking about Carbon Fiber Hoods or OEM when you mention your hoods flying up?

got the hood to close...not sitting perfectly cuz one side of my car is still pushed in a bit BUT...

I was jumping up and down while pulling on the hood and it didn't budge...would you guys say that that was secure enough? I'm really paranoid after it popped up once already. However, when it did pop up the first time, my hood was really bent and there was a lot of air getting under there and nothing was straightened out yet at all.

If you are that paranoid, get hood pins.

You guys should get hood pins or even hood locks. I think the hood locks look a lot better. Not RICE in my opinion if it serves a purpose.
