adj. cam gears

So i got an LS head of zeeman the other day and it comes with adjustable cam gears. The motor will be pretty much stock, except for intake and exhaust. Can these be adjusted to produce more power or better left at stock settings

Hahaha, you should have asked Zeeman when you bought them, he would have told you, and he probably will answer the question later today when he see's it.

ya, shoulda asked me when you were here.
I'd just leave them at the stock settings. You might be able to squeeze a few ponies out of them if you adjust them to +2 on the intake and -2 on the exhaust. But i wouldn't mess with them until you're at the dyno. B/c its really hard to detect even a 5whp gain on the butt dyno. It may seem like you've gained power but in reality you could've lost power.

its safe provided the head hasn't been milled too much, i've never milled it and i don't think the previous owner did either, try it out.
I adjust it 1 degree at a time though. But i honestly don't know how much power you will gain with stock cams. I mean honda does a good job of tuning their engines to make maxium power and fuel economy with their parts from the factory.

agreed.. one or two degrees won't really gain you anything noticeable anyways, i'd just leave it stock. But it's up to you. Maybe u may be able to gain a few more hp, but i doubt itll be anything above 3-5whp
