And with a b16 tranny on a b20/crvtec 1st gear is pretty much a waste.
weird because my buddy has a B18b1 with GSR tranny and it does 4000rpm at 120 in 5th....

what sized wheels?
With a gsr hydro tranny you should be closer to 3700rpms at 120km/hr in 5th. But if its cable then it would be more like 4100rpms.

damn this is such a good thread... i also have a B18A block, i was thinking of building an LS/VTEC, but now with the price gone up... with OEM parts etc...

i think i want to build up my B16 with strictly OEM parts!
since i got bolts on i might get Scott to drop ITR/CTR cams into my car... and stick with an all motor setup b/c i know by extracting as much power as u can is rewarding, but thats my opinion! I/M and bigger TB..... hehe

power wise - $$$$$$ not good!

OH yeah check out
