accord exr check oil light

hey there...

my dad said the check oil light came on last week,so he checked the oil and i topped it off. He the reset it and it was fine.

Last night it came on again. The oil level is perfectly fine, it has clean oil. I did a oil change for him a few weeks ago but i didn't change the filter. Could the old filter be causing the light to come on?

1991 accord exr

my civic doesn't have a check oil light so i'm not to familar with it.

Does it go on at start up then goes away, or it stays on all the time?

Why didn't you change the filter? They're less than $10 @ Cdn Tire.

It maybe causing the oil light to come due to being semi-plugged and causing a dip in oil pressure.

it stays on and its not like didn't change it cuz i'm cheap..i didn't changed it cuz i did it on my drive way...and its not exactly summer time lol....so just change the filter?

how many km on the car?
these are normal problems for these accords.
scott once explained to me it has nothing to do with the oil level or anything but the pressure or something alot those lines dont remember. if scott newman see's this maybe he can shed some light on it again.
