accelerate..e-brake lights come on...
Hi guys I got a quick question..today while I was driving I noticed that when I accelerate fairly aggressively the e-break lights come on for a few seconds even when the e-brake is all the way down..the e-brake lever does feel kinda loose when I park and pull on the lever..not as firm as when I first got the car..any input on what can be the problem and how to fix this guys? thanks alot :)

remove centre console, check for switch operation and connections, adjust the rear drums and tighten the leveler bar.
|
check your brakes too....that happened to me once when i accelerated or accelerated on a turn and it turns out i had to replace the front brake pads

I'm in no means a car expert but that light comes on when your brake fluid is low as well. It might be that simple!
|
oh yeah that's true too... low brake fluid can do that. :nods: good call guys!
|
its b/c your going so fast your car is telling you to slow down....lol.
|
im no expert but what does the e brake have to do with your front brakes???? the connections are probably just loose or your lever is too loose.

there are two wires on the brake fluid cap, those check the level of your fluid, when the fluid is low... they needed a dash light to come on... so what other light would be better to use than the ebrake light??

ya, y would someone read their owners manual?
Just like why would someone search before asking a question? |
man just replace the o2 sensor and you'll be fine.

lol
Thats ****in funny! Everytime I had a question that came up and the only time it actually went was when it was seized and they took a *&^%in air hammer to it to free it up(yes they replaced it for free) |
