AC Belt

How many hours labour is it to replace the A/C belt on a 97 Civic Si?? its squeeling louder and louder

half hour prolly, last time the guy charged me 40 bucks, i was gonna change it myself but the torque mount bolts were seized he had to cut em out., if yours arent seized its pretty easy to do it yourself.

oh yea?? thanks alot, i thought ALOT of stuff had to come out inorder to reach the belt...thanks alot!!!

make sure its your belt thats squealing and not the compressor. also that price doesnt inlude the cost of belt, which is like another 20 bucks.

its more than half hour. I would bet its probably 0.8hr. You have to remove a mount.

Honda belts rarely go.. its probably an idler pulley
