ABS possible????

ryanhook, skid control is easy....just wipe good each time and there will be no skid marks in the tightey whiteys Seriously, nothing like a winter beater to practice car control with....learn weight transfer and you will learn car control. But sometimes even that fails....I have excellent, or at least very good skid control skills after 4-5 years of drifting, but I still eat a curb every once in a while in my beaters. Like last snowfall, it was so slick out, I had a nice 4 wheel drift going, and I was gassing it to pull the front wheels out and put weight in the back, but there was just no grip in my Motomasters....ate the curb. These things happen. However, ABS would not have helped in this situation either.
SumAzunGuy, depends on what model Pirelli. Basically, look for a snow tire that has little tiny cuts in the tread (grips ice nicely) and small blocks of tread that are very very deep. Also get tires that are 10mm narrower than stock, so 175/70/14 for a Civic. If you ever watch winter rallying, you see they run skinny *** tires. It looks funny, but the shiat works.
