abs axles vs. non abs axles?

I need to pickup axles for my b16a swap into my 98 civic dx- my question is does it matter if the axles (94-01 teg) are for abs or non abs?

is there a difference in the axles of different models-ls,gs,gsr?

last of all I got the complete swap w/ axles, I was told it was from a 92-95 civic w/ y21 tranny. The problem is that I completed the swap then when I took it for a drive down the road it was all good until I went to make a U turn- this is when I heard a pop. got out to inspect and noticed the pass. side axle had seperated at the outer joint- 1 part with ball bearings still attached to caliper and the other part was still connected to trans.. the axle just slipped out.
Was this do to axle being to short?
or possibly just a bunk axle?
I know integra axles measure in at 18 11/16'' and the one that came w/ the swap is around
17-18". It only seperated when I turned the wheel all the way towards driver side

All I could really find is that abs axles have a special ring or something for the abs sensor, this shouldn't make a difference really though?

I have abs driveshafts on a nonabs vehicle...no difference

you can take that ring off too if you end up getting abs axles

What about this^^^^it just seems odd that if they are b-series axles and came off a 92-95 civic that they should fit?

will 94-01 integra axles and intermediate shaft work with the Y21 tranny ?
I read an article on another site where the same swap was done and he was saying the 94-01 intermediate shaft spline was like 1/8'' to big to fit into the tranny, so he used the del sol intermediate shaft w/ the integra axles. :shrugs:
Yet everyone is telling me that you need to use axles and inter. shaft from same car?
