99 Sir Motor Swap Into 93 Eg ????

Hey peps, i have a buddy who is taking out his 99 SIR engine and tranny out of his 98 Civic coupe, why i really don't kow!
My question is, will it drop right into my 93 EG, will the motor mounts be the same, will the shafts, will the shifter linkages be the right ones, what will i need to make this work???? I need to know, thanks.

Also, my clucth is hydro, i'm not sure what the 99 SIR is, will this work???

it will drop right in with a few integra mounts and del sol shift linkages (you need the b-series linkages), you will need del sol or integra axles as well, and wire up vtec.
The b16a2 is obd2 your car is obd1, this is your biggest issue. 99 SIR trannies are hydro as well so no worries.

You will need b series motor mounts, shift linkage, axles, harness converter or change the dizzy/injectors, chipped p28 ecu, or another OBD1 ecu.

His 99 SiR ECU will not plug into your OBD1 92-95 car....unless you get a harness converter.

As for the year of the axles/linkages, any b series will work....ie. 94-01 integra, 99-00 SiR, or 97 Del Sol.

Yes I know...so it will only work in your car if you get the harness CONVERTER. That way your OBD1 car can run an OBD2 computer.

but you will need to get the p28 chipped with the p30 program....the b16 has different fuel maps and redlines at 8200rpm vs the d16z6's 7200rpm redline. Also while your at it get them to eliminate the knock sensor

A few small things most fail to mention when going from D to B:
You may want to get the PS pump, rad, the hoses and maybe even the the hoses going to and from the heater core.

I found those parts all to be different than my original D stuff. Maybe there are easier ways to get around all this, but all those extra parts made my swap even easier.
Mind you this was in an EK. Not sure how much more different it will be in the EG chassis??
The EG may require the rear engine bracket from a DC- I think the SiR rear bracket is lil different.

Yup, like i mentioned before, you will need the 94-01 integra (any model) rear bracket you can use the stock rubber mount, the 94-01 integra timing belt side mount, and 94-01 integra right front mount (bracket) you can use the stock rubber mount. Also make sure to get the integra lower rad hose....clamp her on good at the bottom of the rad b/c the hose is a little larger diameter than the rad fitting. And get the 94-97 del sol DOHC VTEC upper rad hose.
This is a good link for b-series mounts in an eg.
