What do you guys think the best bang for my buck engine would be, i can spend about 5000 and i was wondering if the engines you buy off the internet come with evreything, like tranny, wiring, all neccary pumps, i want to know if it comes with evreything or just with an engine and that is it, if you ccould give me a web site that sells them from canada, or the name of a canadian company that carries honda engines
Thanks

don't buy an engine site unseen.... you never know what will be broklen.. I recommend you speak to Altech with you budget and see what they recommend.

Go to our affiliate page, and contact the folks on that page.

Is your car pure stock at the moment? If it is, I suggest you beef up your breaks and suspension and handling before you go out and go stupid fast. Cause your sedan won't be able to stop in time.

I had a 99 SE sedan with B16A2 it fit perfectly and I still kept the A/C.

Oh and 2 DOHC VTEC stickers on each rear door.

First off. Never settle for a B16A IMO. Its a torqueless wonder and its really not all that fun to drive. (ANd yes, I've driven a couple B16A hatchs and our SIR's).

With 5000, your best bet would be to go with a GSR engine(B18C). You'll have a bit more displacement, more horsepower, more torque and just overall a fun little engine for your car.

Later on down the road you can do a full N/A or FI build on it and have a great platform to work with...whereas boosting the B16A is still good, but you have torque to laugh at. The D16Z6 creates more torque than a B16A boosted...
