its a 1.8L 195HP DOHC VTEC Engine which usually puts down 163-165whp average..

170-190 is easily attainable from the right exhaust, header, cai, and some tuning...

for the 200+whp , some cams, cam gears and you are flying

With those cams, don't forget ecu tuning, valve springs & retainers.

i've seen stock ITRs put down about 165-170whp...with i/h/e you'll be over 170 (maybe 180 if you're lucky) WHP.

One matrix XRS (2zzge) on matrixowners put down 180whp with intake, ported stock header, larger tb, ported intake mani, high-flow cat, cat back....and no ecu tuning. Not too shabby for some simple mods....

b.c its completely irrelavent to the question being asked.

We had a dyno day, and this guy with a diesel truck put down like 600whp and 550ft/lbs of torque.

Apples to oranges.

I just thought some ppl would find it relavent because the matrix XRS engine is a 1.8L DOHC 4 cylinder with it's own form of 'vtec' and the performance is very similar to a b18c5......

But if your gonna be an a$$ about it....then we'll just forget it....
