98 Hatch offset

Have done a search but just want to confirm what the best offset will be for a 98 civic h/b?
40 offset with 17x7 - 205/40 ????
any rubbing ??? thanks

A +45 is better if your car is slammed.

with a tire as wide as 205, I'd really not recommend a 45 offset... 42mm is as deep as I'd go, cuz from there up, on lock to lock turns the inside will rub the fenderwell. Any less than 40, and you won't have much of a fender anymore. That's IMHO...
