97 el motor replacing

Hi everyone i got a question.
I got a 1997 acura 1.6 el engine d16y8 (96-2000 obd2)and its on its last moments.. So i have a d16z6 (92-95 civics obd1)at home wich is in great condition and am thinking of swaping it in.. Now what would i have to change to make it work properly? Could it be as simple as switching the wiring harness over?

the engine can be swapped in, but it's not legal as far as I know, and it's not as simple as switching the harness over, the plugs are totally different and you'd need a different ECU as well.

these engines are dirt cheap, people just leave them at the shop after a swap, so there should be a good supply of them.
