My Y7 dynoed 96 whp/90 tq. It was done on a Mustang Dyno, with a 2 year old air filter and a muffler.

Hope that helps.

Not at all. The dyno was cheap, it was a fun day out, and I love my car and I want to know where the peak hp/tq is at, to aid me driving on the track.

What should whp be for a DX with:

- intake
- header
- straight pipe
- exhaust

estimate of course.

not too much... still just roughly 100whp/92tq at most.... stock engine is stock engine, no matter what i/h/e you do... small difference.....

coz i think my y8 would only make around 100whp at most with i/h/e....

The Civic is generally light though maybe at least 2000lbs so 100HP/100lb ft of torque is still quite good. Now it would be flying if you had a turbo bringing it up to 170HP.

These smilies are fun

100hp is so damn pathetic, even in a 2000lbs car.

Since my H22 im beating around in CXs and DXs and it's a freakin nightmare.. Absolutely gutless merging lanes, switching lanes, whatever. You haven't felt freedom of driving until you've driven a car that can compete with the majority of cars on the road.

I know what your guy's mean. Going from my EF B16 to my mom's PT cruiser is like Going from a Scapel to a Butterknife. I gunned the Thing after not driving it for a month and It was so slow I thought it was Broken.
