95 honda civic front rotors

hey i'm looking to buy new rotors for my civic and i was woundering what i should be looking for should i be getting drilled or sloted or both..... what companys should i be looking at getting....

oem. don't get blanks or cross drilled, you don't need them so don't waste your $$ on them. goto honda to get some quality ones or even brembo blanks. slotted and cross drilled rotors with stock diameter size won't do anything for you. if anything they will warp faster and make your braking even worse.

really so its not gonna do anything at all no better braking performance at all????
is the best way just to get a better brake set up....

slotted and cross drilled do help on factory sized rotors...had them on my hatch and it was night and day...less brake fade and they didnt warp even after spirited driving through the hills

yeah less brake fade, i don't think he'll be driving around town long and fast enough to experience brake fade. if you were worried about brake fade then get yourself a set of aftermarket performance brake pads. i wouldn't even do any kind of spirited driving on stock brake pads, that's just nuts. i went last year to shannonville on stock brakes once, never again. it was the scariest sh*t i've ever experienced in my life. brake fade at 150km/h? not fun at all, lol.

The slits on the rotor is to dissipate heat; where drilled out holes are to loose weight of the rotor.

For your application, regular blanks are fine. If you want to loose heat fast (say you always brake from 180 down to 60), ya get some slitted rotors.

somebody should weigh the cross drilled and normal rotors to see what the weight difference is...it would be interesting to know

so pretty much you guys are saying if i'm driving my car hard then get them other wise just go OEM.....
