spazio10 02-Aug-2005 01:42 AM

he has done a search but there is a diff between usdm and cnd so he needs to look up the engine code.
oh and steve why don't you stop stressing and beat it already, relax buddy, a good porno and a tube of KY will take the GRR outta ya.

imported_SaYjAiBaO 02-Aug-2005 01:47 AM

Steve : I never asked for negative answers, Dont feel u have to reply to everone threads!.. and if u r going to atleast be positive, I looked and found other threads that had info like "cynikals" etc, but I was confused if my car was USDM or some CDN one. Thxs Ross

imported_kIeRaN 02-Aug-2005 12:15 PM

cdn cx model with d15b7 has 102 hp
us cx model with d15b2 has 70 hp

imported_SaYjAiBaO 02-Aug-2005 01:34 PM

if its canadian it should have a canadian stamped sticker right in the front when you open the hood shouldn't it? and if its american i think it says america, not too sure on this one though. just look at the engine block code and then look up the code on list posted on the web for specs.

CIVICHB4U2NV 03-Aug-2005 12:47 AM

thxs guys!

spazio10 03-Aug-2005 01:10 AM

it won't be stamped but the vin number of the car will tell you. but yes just look at the engine code and forget about the modle of the car.

steve is right a lil search wouldn't have hurt your brain

but anyways, kieran has it right.

CIVICHB4U2NV 03-Aug-2005 11:19 AM

I did look in the archives, I was just not sure differences between US/ CDN models

bbarbulo 03-Aug-2005 01:48 PM

fair enough....

a USDM CX is an 8 valve 1.5 liter engine

the CDN CX is a 16 valve 1.5 liter engine

the same 16 valve 1.5 liter engine could be found in the USDM DX model.

u had the time to type ALL THAT and then accuse him of wasting your time :goof:

bbarbulo 04-Aug-2005 05:31 AM

he may distribute his time as he sees fit. however it's no one elses place to take time from him. I know.... I'm quite the philosopher. :D

like I can lose an entire day sleeping or watching TV. but to spend a half hour in traffic cuz of rubbernecking idiots really blows my gasket.
