94 accord, low rough idle, bad spark?

Friend's 94 accord.

Idles around 2-300rpm when it's in drive . When you turn the wheel or add any extra load, the car is slow to react and drops even lower then comes back up around 300.

In park the idle is about right.. 600-700rpm under zero load.

I unplugged the IACV and yes the rpm's dropped, so I figured it wasn't that.. Either way, I openned it up and cleaned it out with TB cleaner. Hooked up positive to the yellow/black and ground touch to the blue/black and yes it did click. Put it back, still idled like crap.

Tried adjusting the BISS screw on the TB and no effect so i put it back to where it was.

Then I went on to test the spark plug wires.
The longest wire tested 12,630ohms, next was 10,500ohms, 9,900ohms and the shortest was 7,800ohms.

Looks like the wires are due for change?
The cap wasn't too bad, but the rotor didn't have much left on it.
Didn't check out any of the spark plugs, most likely in the same shape.

Don't have a fuel pressure guage to check psi yet.

Is there anything else I can check? Or does it seem like weak spark is most likely the cause?

ugh... those wires are dead!! on all my cars, the wires all test at under 1K ohms. I'd change anything over 5K... service interval is anything over 8K has to go.

seeing as how that's cheap, I'd start with replacing those... wires, cap and rotor.

RPM @ cold start up will go upto 2000.. then idle down to around 650-700 when warm.

Any load causes it to fluctuate.. under transmission load the rpm will drop around 500 and then the car feels rough..

I changed all the sparks except the wires so far cuz honda gave me the wrong wires... so waiting for the right wires to come in and I'll see.

also... something to keep in mind... distributors on those things are notorious for going out. so you could also be dealing with a dizzy that may have weeks/months to live.

yeah i know eh.. He tells me about it now..

It's not that bad.. it's more off an annoyance, something you can live with.. And hell, ppl that don't know **** about cars never realize, they just keep driving until the thing blows up.

It was me that sat in that car and was like WTF is wrong with it... he's like it was like that when i bought it..
