93 Turbo Build Up

hey guys you've been great help to me in the past with pojects on the go so i'm turning to you for more help.........

I got a friend on TCC that wants to put a non Vtec ZC sohc into his 93 hatch CX and then turbo it. He was wanting to put a si cable tranny (1990)....with drive shafts does anyone know if the spline count the same or will he need DX/SI HUBS with the Mpfi can he use the 1990 intake with a resistor box....OBD-0 into a OBD-1 car the harness at the computer is different so how would it be set up..........no resistor box??due to a lower output resistance to the injectors from the computer.... also does anyone have any input on how to rig up the clutch to run cable rather that Hydrolic would you need a cable cluch pedal or fab the original one?..........

ALL input on this swap would be appreciated

Thanks. Justin

it could be done..but its not worth all that hassle.

best bet is to just pick up a z6 motor for cheap/tranny/ecu..slap it on..done..no fabrications

nope..the amount of money for fabbing, etc... and labour wise.. its gonna end up costing more. Unless your gonna do the work yourself, then no labour, but im pretty capable, and i wouldnt wanna have to go through all that. my .02 cents.

'custom' projects never quite go as you hope they would. I also recommend taking the easier way out, it WILL end up being cheaper than what you suggest.
