93 Civc B18c Chipet P28* Wise To Keep Or Change Stock Gsr Intake Mainfold???
HI i have a 93 civic with a b18c swap and runing a chipet p28 ecu and i no my secondaries are not working... Would it be woth the money to change my stock intakemainfold to a skunk 2 ? so it will get rid or secondaries?? thanks alot for your time and help...

BTW, you can also chip your p28 such that it will have the ability to actuate the secondaries.

are you throwing any codes rite now without using the secondaries? i'm running a P72 ecu and it all works nicely. it almost sounds like a dual-stage vtec cuz you hear the secondaries open up at 4300rpm, then vtec after that.
i was told that you may need a hondata or something to run another intake manifold like the skunk2 (due to the lack of secondaries). another cheap option is to remove them from your stock manifold, but some cars loose a lot of low end power by doing that (unless you're turbo that is).
do some more research, i'm still looking up which combo to use as well for an IM and TB cuz i have the same setup as you almost. =)

optin 2) take out p28 and buy p72 ecu $200 pay some one to intall and add nock off senser $?
im going to keep car farly stock just i/h/e and may be cams... and than i think all stop.
dont have a hole lot of cash but do have a lil bit saved.. i just want to do it right and get the best band for my buck...

Okk,, If i go buy a Skunk2 IMF. what should i get mY P28 ecu chipet with??
and would i make more power out of my engine this way rather than buying a p72 ecu?
this is for my JDM GSR I/H/E may be next year i may get cams...
