well you could go with a 95 GSR computer and wire the secondaries up. or you could get rid of them by swapping to a B16A3 intake manifold from a DOHC del Sol.

I could be wrong, but it was my understanding the the b16a2 and b16a3 manifolds are identicle and like the type R manifold, won't bolt up to the GSR head?

BTW, you can also chip your p28 such that it will have the ability to actuate the secondaries.

hahaha oh yeah.... forgot about that. So get a 95 GSR computer. that would be the cheaper way anyways. and also the correct way.

I can modify your P28 to run the secondaries if you like.

Or, i have a friend selling a GSR Skunk2 Intake manifold.

PM me if you're interested in either.

are you throwing any codes rite now without using the secondaries? i'm running a P72 ecu and it all works nicely. it almost sounds like a dual-stage vtec cuz you hear the secondaries open up at 4300rpm, then vtec after that.

i was told that you may need a hondata or something to run another intake manifold like the skunk2 (due to the lack of secondaries). another cheap option is to remove them from your stock manifold, but some cars loose a lot of low end power by doing that (unless you're turbo that is).

do some more research, i'm still looking up which combo to use as well for an IM and TB cuz i have the same setup as you almost. =)

or chip your p28 with the appropriate p72 map and have it control the secondaries. That option should be cheaper than $200 IMO.

Yes, but you'll need to modify the ecu to run the secondaries. a P28 with a P72 chip won't work, becuase it doesn't have the circuitry to control them.
