92 VX with sohc ZC vtec swap
 

hi all need some help i have a 92 VX just got SOHC ZC vtec motor put in.

1st question: what O2 Sensor do you use?? the stock VX O2 will not read with a P28 ecu

2nd question: Do i have to change the wiring harness??

3rd question: any one who has done this swap have you had a problem with emissions??

any help would be greatly appreciated

I believe the VX is pre wired for vtec

Its not a sohc zc it a d16z6 "z6"

ZC don't come with vtec

ZC SOHC came in CRX in japan motor was produced up untill '93
with VTEC its almost identical to the d16z6 but has 129 hp

i did that exact same swap before, the problem i ran into was that there was no map sensor on the throttle body and the VX didnt come with a map sensor on the firewall, so u can either buy another throttle body that has the map sensor or just buy a map sensor that goes on the firewall (i have one forsale if ure interested) As for the O2 sensor, the swap will probably come with the O2 sensor u need, but if it doesnt u can still use the VX one, i saw a DIY thread on honda Tech about how to rewire it.
