92' project
 

Hey i'm new to cars so i might need a little help. I picked up a really old 1992 civic hatchback and I'm interested in making it look better than all those 2009 cars out there. But i dont know where to start. So if anyone can give me an idea then please help a brother out. I also have a big rust problem on the vechicle as you can see on my dp. Any opinions will help out.

start with the body.

Get the body work done first, and then start doing other things to the car,

where did you find one from???


its been a total bitch trying to find a clean EG in the city!!!!

From the sounds of it I wouldn't call it clean.

Figure out the look you want and get the body done for sure

where will i be able to get kits and mechanics to install in toronto? looking for cheap but good quality parts. and is there a site that lists and shows all the different types of bodys? i also need to find the best way to fix rust problems.

By the looks of your dp I would say you would have to get the rust cut out and new pieces welded on. Search forums for body shops. What kind of body kit do you want? Just lips or full out dumpers that look like fast and furious cars?
If just lips check out OptionJDM: Performance Parts & Accessories body shops can install/paint the lips too.

Lol from the looks of it, it does not seem like minor rust. Looks like a piece is missing.

yeah rust is the biggest problem for me right now.

Same with the civic in that posted thread.

do the body work on it first but DON'T RICE IT OUT LOL:P. give it a clean JDM look. but thats just my opinion.

wow man the car is in really bad shape, and if you payed more then 700 for this car you got ripped off for sure

i basically got it for free

oh alright then because if you did pay more then 700 i think you would be out of your mind lol.
